Barbara
Sanseverino Sanvitale, an extremely cultured woman, tells
her tale through an immaginary diary and by means of the letters
exchanged with Isabella d'Este Gonzaga, in an audiovisual installation
created within some of the rooms of the palace of Colorno. Barbara
bears witness to the tastes of a court which was refined, and
of her love for art, nature and culture; she tells of the anxieties
of a commissioner of works of art and of the wait for her garden
to be completed. She tells of herself, and at the same time
provides information about the court in which she was the undisputed
protagonist.
