| Varano de' Melegari: the restoration |

The
castle opens to the public following its recent acquisition
by the Council of Varano de' Melegari.The first restoration
works planned involve a few rooms on the ground and first floors,
linked by the eighteenth century stairway of honour. The rooms
become the first part of the permanent exhibition which will
include an original and extensive Museum dedicated to the shapes
of Bread and the traditions linked to the production of this,
one of man's most ancient productso.
