In
the theatre of early nineteenth century design, the audiovisual
installation presents the theme of the village and its architectural
and decorative style, paying particular attention to the Lombard
model of the terracotta decoration, adopted by Giovan Francesco
Pallavicino.
The uses of the terracotta are multiple:
from the ornate and relief models which were applied to the
arches and pilaster strips surrounding doors and windows,
to the use of the sculptures, above all of a religious theme.
A setting which alternates with the
images, the true reconstruction of some of the original pieces
which became protagonists thanks to clever usage of specific
lights which highlighted their function.
