The event is organised by the Service for Historical, Artistic and Demo-ethno-anthropological Heritageof Parma and Piacenza in partnership with the Kunsthistorisches Museum of Vienna.
The Convention focuses on the philologic, historical-critical and conservation problems to shed new life on the personality and artistic development of Parmigianino.
The works will be divided into four thematic sections:

"Parmigianino the painter: definition of his personality, artistic development and the works"
"Scientific investigations, restoration and preservation history"
"Parmigianino: design, graphic art and collectionism"
"Parmigianino and Italian and European Mannerism"
